On June 6th, Diverse Representation will host a panel titled, “Redefining Legacy Through Diverse Representation.” Join us for a conversation with Black agents, attorneys, and managers on the ways in which they are building and proactively protecting the legacy of diverse artists, filmmakers and content creators. Sports Agent Bootcamp
On March 24-25, 2025, Diverse Representation will host its annual Sports Agent Bootcamp. The Bootcamp aims to prepare Black professionals as well as Black undergraduate and graduate students for careers as professional sports agents. The program features a number of panels and fireside chats covering an array of topics ranging from recruiting and scouting to endorsements and negotiating tactics. Black Ownership In Sports Symposium
On March 22, 2025, Diverse Representation will host its Black Ownership In Sports Symposium in Atlanta, Georgia. The aim of this Symposium is to equip attendees with the tools and resources to purchase and own professional sports teams. White House x National Black Women In Sports Day
On July 31, Diverse Representation is partnering with the White House to present an afternoon celebrating Black women in the sports industry. The afternoon will include a panel conversation and networking reception. Panelists include Monica McNutt (Analyst, ESPN), Keia Clarke (CEO, New York Liberty), Nneka Ogwumike (Forward, Seattle Storm & President, WNBPA) and Lonnie Murray (MLB Agent). Panelists will discuss their experiences as Black women in the sports industry and share insight on increasing representation. Reception to follow.

Tribeca Film Festival
Join us in New York during the Tribeca Festival for our panel "The Future of Representation." The panel, which features Black agents, attorneys, and managers, will expose the various opportunities and challenges shaping the future of talent representation in the entertainment industry. Over the last five years, we have experienced historic labor strikes, a global pandemic, a number of mergers and acquisitions, and the complete closure of entertainment companies, which have all contributed to the evolving role of agents, attorneys, and managers. Panelists will exchange insights on how some of these key themes are transforming the way talent is scouted, managed, and marketed. The conversation will also cover empowering talent from underrepresented backgrounds.

Black Ownership In Sports Symposium
The inaugural Black Ownership in Sports Symposium is a disruptive, innovative, first-of-its-kind one-day program aimed at educating Black students and Black professionals about the inner workings of owning professional sports teams. Guest speakers will share insight into the various opportunities and challenges in connection with purchasing majority and minority ownership stakes in professional sports teams. Speakers will also share various financial models and viable pathways to gaining ownership.

Representation Roundtable: A Conversation with Black Agents, Managers, and Attorneys
During the 30th Annual Pan African Film & Arts Festival, Diverse Representation presents “Representation Roundtable: A Conversation with Black Agents, Managers, and Attorneys.,” an informative and engaging conversation featuring Black agents, managers, and attorneys in the entertainment industry. Panelists will discuss the nuances of representation and debunk some of the common myths and misconceptions. Panelists will share what they typically look for when taking on new clients and how to gauge whether an agent, manager, or attorney is the right fit.
