[ROC NATION] Intern, Legal (Music)
Roc Nation is looking for a highly motivated, organized and enthusiastic individual, who is interested in learning more about the live entertainment and music industries. This internship will allow you to gain first-hand experience in a variety of areas, including but not limited to label, publishing and management transactions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Draft, review and/or revise form documents
Conduct research on various topics as needed
Draft, review and/or revise artist clearance communications
Review and advise on intellectual property issues within visual content
Draft, review and/or revise work-for-hire, confidentiality, and release agreements
Draft, review and/or revise definitive transaction documents and related documents, such as exclusive recording, publishing, talent management, and distribution agreements
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a current law student, enrolled in a J.D. program at an accredited university
Must be eligible to receive academic credit from your university for the duration of the internship
This internship is available for the Spring semester. This is a non-paid internship, with flexible hours (minimum of 16 hours per week) to reflect your necessary college credit requirements.
Internship is based in New York, NY.
