[APPLE TV+] Assistant, Film Distribution & Development

This position will provide administrative support for two Film Executives at Apple TV+. The successful candidate will be a collaborative team member with a friendly demeanor and determined work ethic. We need someone exceptionally well-organized and able to effectively multitask and prioritize, take initiative, and budget time for special projects.

DESCRIPTION

  • Ability to run cross-functional calendars with heavy calendaring, while supporting the overall teams

  • Handle and maintain highly confidential and sensitive information Ability to excel and diplomatically engage with complex and different personalities

  • Time management proficiency for two executives with different disciplines and the ability to prioritize competing deadlines

  • Coordinate meetings via live, videoconference, and conference calls Coordinate technical requirements for theatrical exhibition/film festivals, including DCP/KDMs Consistent interaction with top Executives within Apple Inc. and external third parties, including Executive Admins

  • Proficiency with expense reports Efficient in Apple programs, especially iCal, Keynote, Numbers, Pages, along with additional knowledge of Excel Contribute a fun and creative approach to team activities and morale

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience calendaring for busy executives

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective business partnerships

  • Direct experience dealing with sensitive and confidential information with integrity

  • High reading comprehension, experience reviewing creative material, and completing script coverage

  • Consistent record of meeting deadlines and taking initiative to make decisions quickly and under pressure

  • Demonstrates a proactive ability to anticipate needs and react efficiently and calmly in the face of changes

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience assisting an entertainment executive with excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance tasks in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and professional demeanor, knowing when to delegate issues upward

  • Determined, results-oriented, and excited to take on challenges while remaining calm under pressure

  • We need you to be confident in making decisions on your own when needed and articulate your reasoning

  • Interest in learning about film distribution, including theatrical windowing, exhibitor partnerships, and festival runs

  • Overall ability to understand and retain new information quickly with a passion for learning new things, continuous improvement, and sharing best practices
