[MINNESOTA VIKINGS] Senior Manager, Partnership Marketing
The Senior Manager of Partnership Marketing plays a key role in supporting the development and execution of marketing strategies that elevate the value and visibility of Minnesota Vikings corporate partnerships. Reporting to the Senior Director of Partnership Marketing, this position focuses on partnership strategy, activation, cross-functional collaboration, day-to-day management of marketing initiatives, and assist in various special projects and tentpole events, while collaborating with key stakeholders to advance the goals and priorities of the Minnesota Vikings organization. The ideal candidate is a proactive marketer with a passion for sports, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
This role requires a detail-oriented and creative strategic thinker who can manage multiple projects, build strong relationships with partners, and contribute to the team’s overall success. The Manager will work closely with internal departments and external partners to ensure seamless execution of marketing campaigns and activations that drive fan engagement and deliver measurable results.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Strategy
Contribute to the development of integrated marketing strategies that support partnership objectives and enhance brand visibility.
Assist in gathering market research, fan insights, and competitive analysis to inform campaign planning and partner recommendations.
Collaborate with the Senior Director and cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with organizational goals and partner expectations.
Support the ideation and execution of creative marketing concepts that drive fan engagement and deliver measurable results.
Help identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in partnership marketing efforts, bringing forward ideas that reflect current trends and fan behaviors.
Assist Partnership Marketing and Revenue teams with sales research and presentation development for prospective partners
Contribute to the creation and implementation of new ideas/opportunities that drive revenue and upsell opportunities
Partnership Activation & Execution
Manage and execute complex contractual elements within a portfolio of corporate Partners both effectively and in a timely manner with a high level of attention to detail, while creating and offering added value opportunities
Work with cross-functional marketing team to develop, maintain and execute partner programs within the integrated marketing calendar
Review, interpret and understand all aspects of partner legal contracts; distribute all relevant information to appropriate internal departments/counterparts to ensure implementation and fulfillment
Coordinate logistical elements of gameday activities within assigned partner accounts by working closely with the Events, Game Operations and VEN teams
Serve as a liaison between partners and internal stakeholders to facilitate communication and project alignment.
Manage multi-million-dollar partner activation fulfillment and budgets including planning, building and allocating funds
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure new partnerships are set up for successful implementation.
Work with internal marketing team and strategic partners as needed for planning and execution of partner programs/events
Relationship Management
Lead the day-to-day relationship with a portfolio of partners.
Maintain strong working relationships with assigned corporate partners, understanding their goals and ensuring timely and effective delivery of contracted assets.
Provide exceptional service and responsiveness to partner needs, contributing to long-term relationship growth.
Negotiate solutions and concepts proactively to meet partner’s objectives and grow their business
Asset & Inventory Management
Assist in managing partnership assets and inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and fulfillment of contractual obligations.
Support the organization and documentation of partner-related materials and deliverables.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for partnership activations and campaigns.
Collaborate with Business Strategy & Insights to gather data and contribute to reporting that demonstrates impact and ROI. Responsible for tracking and communicating partner-related expenses and inventory throughout the year
Game Day & Event Support
Represent the Partnership Marketing team during home games and special events, supporting partner activation and ensuring a premium experience.
Assist with on-site logistics and troubleshooting to ensure smooth execution.
Innovation & Continuous Learning
Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in sports marketing and sponsorship.
Bring fresh ideas and creative thinking to the team to enhance partnership value and fan engagement.
Conduct ongoing best practices research with other teams and venues as it relates to partnership activation
Provide consistent communication and status updates to partners and the Vikings’ internal team
QUALIFICATIONS
Five plus years in partnerships marketing, sponsorships, or brand activation.
Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Sports Management or related field.
Experience developing compelling activation ideas and innovative marketing solutions.
Ability to craft and execute partnership strategies that align with brand and organizational objectives.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and have excellent organizational abilities to handle multiple tasks, establish priorities, and consistently meet deadlines.
Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize Microsoft Office, and CRM systems.
Extremely customer focused (with both external and internal clients) with a passion for sports and fan engagement.
Ability to actively solve problems and lead difficult conversations with partners and internal stakeholders.
Strong communication and presentation skills (especially when working with internal stakeholders and partners).
Familiarity with sponsorship contract terms, rights and deliverables.
Willingness to work non-traditional hours including game days and events.
Salary Range: $86,000.00 To $92,000.00 Annually
