What was one of your professional highlights of 2020?

After taking this huge leap of faith, to start my own talent management company during a pandemic, I was ecstatic to find out I was a recipient of the American Express & IFundWomen of Color “100 for 100” program. This program will provide me with funding and 100 days of educational resources, which is invaluable as a new entrepreneur.

What advice would you give yourself 5 years ago?

You are more than enough. Stop waiting on other people to validate you. Take a chance. Betting on yourself will actually be the most successful thing you can do!

What is one thing that can be done differently to promote more diversity in the sports and entertainment industries?

Creating more mentorship and educational initiatives to support, mentor, and train individuals from underrepresented groups. Whether you want to write, direct or want to work in representation, its important to champion the next generation of entertainment leaders

What is one thing you've learned about yourself during the pandemic?

Surprised at how much I enjoy the convenience and comfort of working from home. This experience has made me value my alone time and I'm able to practice better self-care.
