What was one of your professional highlights of 2020?

I was a part of the Element Sports Group team that negotiated Cameron Heyward's record breaking contract extension. Cameron will make over $75 million over the next five years; making him the highest paid defensive player over the age of 30 in NFL history.

What advice would you give yourself 5 years ago?

You can gain something valuable from every experience. With each opportunity, there is a chance to gain a skill that will serve you well in the future.

What is one thing that can be done differently to promote more diversity in the sports and entertainment industries?

We should be intentional about exposing student-athletes to the business side of sports earlier. It is important that they understand that there are long-lasting and fulfilling sports and entertainment careers outside of playing professionally.

What is one thing you've learned about yourself during the pandemic?

I learned that I'm more creative than I imagined. The obstacles associated with the pandemic changed the way I serve and advocate for clients. It challenged me to create new strategies to get the job done.

What is your theme word for 2021?

Energy! I want to continue to approach everything, both personally and professionally, with maximum effort and enthusiasm. I believe positive energy is contagious; clients can feel when you are motivated to help them accomplish their goals.
