[SKYDANCE] Business and Legal Affairs Intern

Skydance Sports is seeking a highly motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented law student to intern with our Business & Legal Affairs (BALA) Team. As a BALA intern, you will have the opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on experience across various aspects of the dealmaking process. The candidate will shadow BALA attorneys during the negotiation process, prepare initial offers and counteroffers, prepare deal memos, create deal templates, and create internal precedent charts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited law school program.

  • Interest in sports/entertainment law/film, scripted and unscripted television, and documentaries.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong academic record and legal research skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office suite.

  • Prior internship or work experience in a legal setting is a plus but not required.

The hourly rate for this non-exempt position in Santa Monica is $17.27.

You must be available to work full-time from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (PT) for the duration of the program (Mon-Fri, June 10 to August 16). Our offices will be closed on June 19 and July 3-5. Aside from those dates, no additional vacation days can be accommodated.
