[NFL] Senior Coordinator, Football Communications
The Senior Coordinator, Football Communications will promote key football themes to focus media attention on the game, communicate with internal and external stakeholders and generate and distribute innovative and captivating content to drive on-field narratives. This role will also play a leading role in media operations at NFL events, maintaining the league’s reputation as best-in-class.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Be a forward-thinking, innovative strategic football communicator, creating compelling content to drive media interest in the game, domestically and internationally.
Editorial responsibilities related to football content include writing, editing, fact-checking and proofing all content during the season, including on all NFL gamedays.
Lead media operations activities and the media accreditation process for key NFL events, including the Super Bowl, Combine, Draft and international games.
Serve as a key contact for all 32 NFL clubs, with expert knowledge of the league’s media access and injury report policies.
Coordinate with club communications staffs on media related activities around NFL tentpole events, including player media availabilities, league-related initiatives and event day operations.
Oversee the management, development and testing of SEMS (Special Events Management System), the league’s credential portal, and league’s media website, media.nfl.com.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a Communications or related field
Innovative and strategic with the ability to generate new ideas
3-5 years of experience with a league, club or in a collegiate athletic communications role
Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 USD
